–       Assist the Head Coach as directed to help support a national championship level basketball program

–       Coordinate and execute all video operations to include:
– Filming and breaking down daily practice
– Filming and breaking down all contests
– Creating highlight reels for both team and individual players
– Creating/clipping scouting films as directed by Head Coach or Assistant Coaches
– Planning, executing and editing an “All-Access” feature, to include footage from games, practice, team outings, etc.
– Film exchange with other schools, as directed by Head Coach

–       Coordinate operations for all games to include staffing for scorer’s table, all aspects of concessions, opposing team and referee accommodations, equipment, music, promotions and other duties assigned by the Head Coach

–       Coordinate all facilities and staffing for on-campus events throughout the season

–       Manage all aspects of statistics, providing reports as requested by coaching staff

–       Oversee and manage all student-assistants and managers for daily practice, travel and contests.

–       Coordinate all aspects of travel to include booking accommodations, securing vehicles, submitting detailed itineraries, packing equipment and assisting in driving as needed.

–       Create dynamic and innovative content for use on social media sites at a high frequency.

–       Assist Head Coach as directed with on-campus and digital recruiting efforts

–       Manage all equipment and laundry needs

–       Maintain accurate and organized systems for inventory

–       Supervise nightly study hall multiple nights each week

–       Help to promote, market, execute and coach all Lee Martin Basketball Camps

–       Represent and support Hargrave Military Academy in a manner fitting with the mission of the school

–       Assist in practice/game coaching as directed by the Head Coach

Minimum Qualifications:

–       Bachelor’s Degree or higher

–       2 or more years experience with video and photo editing software

–       2 or more years experience in basketball as a coach, player or administrator

–       Valid driver’s license

Compensation:

–       10-month salary of $8,000

Hargrave Military Academy, located in Chatham, Virginia, is an all-male military boarding school focused on college preparation and character development. Founded in 1909, the Academy is noted for ongoing academic achievement in college placement, athletics, character development and leadership. Hargrave serves grades 7-12 and one postgraduate year.
