he University of Akron is seeking to fill the position of Director, Men’s Basketball Operations & Analytics. Primary responsibilities include: managing the Men’s Basketball operations; handling film exchange; organizing community service projects and managing outreach activities for coaching staff; organizing team travel; organizing Men’s Basketball camps and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach; working as the Assistant Recruiting Coordinator for walk-ons/preferred/tryouts; and assisting with in-depth scouting and self-scouting, utilizing video, statistics and advanced metrics to evaluate strengths and weaknesses and be liaison to 3rd party software and analytic providers.

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one (1) year experience of collegiate play, coaching and / or administrative work in a Division I Collegiate basketball program. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a working knowledge of basketball.
