This position will provide and perform a variety of professional and administrative duties in support of the day to day operations of the men’s basketball program and athletic department. Must be able to assist in program planning, promotions, development in the areas of marketing men’s basketball, special community projects and developing relationships to enhance the program in the local and regional area. Must be able to handle purchasing and accounting of supplies for the program, equipment purchasing, and the handling of monies necessary for team travel. Must be able to work alongside community leaders, businesses, and educators to promote the basketball program in the community. Attend the necessary meetings that directly impact the department and program.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college is required. Prior experience in administrative duties, reconciliation of monthly budget and purchasing cards, ordering equipment and supplies, and some knowledge of NCAA Division I rules is required. Must have good interpersonal skills in working with staff, athletes, and employees of the University. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
