Reporting to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Director of Athletics, the Director of Men’s Basketball Operations performs a variety of professional and administrative duties in support of the day to day operations of the basketball program including monitoring academics, compliance reporting, community services, team travel, fund raising, organization of practices, and any other area of responsibility as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics. The Director of Men’s Basketball Operations will serve as the main men’s basketball staff contact for other department and campus units. This position will also serve as coordinator and administrator for camps and clinics.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college is required along with one year of prior relevant experience within a collegiate basketball program. Must have good interpersonal skills in working with staff, athletes, and employees of the University. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Must possess good written and oral communication skills, working knowledge of NCAA and conference rules, knowledge of video and scout software, ability to schedule on campus recruiting visits, and the ability to work with diverse group.
