Responsible for planning the collective recruiting strategy for the Men’s Basketball program. The major focus of the position will be the overall branding and positioning of the team. Additionally, it will have a specific emphasis on the recruitment of potential Men’s Basketball student-athletes. Ensures that recruiting processes align with current and future needs as stated by the coaching staff. Develops the most effective, economical and appropriate recruiting channels and methods. Manage and supervise all activities related to Men’s Basketball recruiting including (1) on-campus recruitment of prospects, their families, and guests; (2) coordination of off-campus recruitment of prospects and their families by coaches; (3) all forms of recruiting communications directed at prospects, their families and coaches, and the general public including social media and content. Our recruiting activities must be highly coordinated and streamlined in order to compete with other NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball programs. This position is also responsible for planning and implementing a Social plan for both the recruitment of potential student athletes and the overall Men’s Basketball.

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of and experience working in an intercollegiate athletics environment, preferably in the sport of basketball. Strong knowledge of NCAA and ACC regulations regarding recruiting student-athletes. Strong interpersonal communications skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communications skills. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s preferred. All degrees must be from fully accredited institutions.
