Description: | Oversee the strategic development and financial well-being of the Nebraska Men’s Basketball program. Identify, develop, and implement strategies to drive revenues and elevate the domestic and international profile of the men’s basketball team. Collect, analyze, summarize and report analytical data. Make recommendations to coaching staff on international prospective student-athletes as recruiting targets. Responsible for the administrative oversight of the non-coaching personnel and general operating functions of the sports program. Coordinate team travel and schedule non-conference games for upcoming seasons. Create and develop the Men’s Basketball program’s budget, monitor and approve organizational spending to ensure that it is within budget and forecast future financial needs. Develop revenue/expense analyses, projections, and reports. Responsible for the domestic and international men’s basketball student-athletes UNL admission operations. Assist international men’s basketball student-athletes obtain their student visa and maintain their student status while in school. Serve as the basketball program’s liaison with a variety of University and Athletic departments. Create quantitative and qualitative analytical projects and reports to improve intradepartmental efficiency. Must have commitment to NCAA, Big Ten, and University rules and regulations. Three 3 years full-time work experience in an NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Program focusing on analytical operations. Experience in helping international student-athletes obtain their student visa and maintain their student status while in school. For admission purposes, in-depth knowledge of NCAA eligibility requirements for foreign educated athletes. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or closely related field. |
