M14Hoops is a youth basketball development company founded in 2009, offering year round programming to boys and girls from K-12th grade. We respect every player’s dream whether that dream is making the “A” team or an invitation from Team USA. Approximately 97% of players who train with M14 make the high school team and we helped save families over $10 million dollars in college scholarship money. At M14, players master basketball skills and IQ as well as life lessons that extend far beyond the court. M14Hoops delivers a championship experience to our players, parents and staff. Our staff develop personally, professionally and financially.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Head Trainer/Director of Basketball Operations

Summary of Responsibilities:

Delivering the M14Hoops experience to our players, families, and staff. Maintaining M14Hoops Championship Culture. Creating and implementing training class curriculum’s. Training and managing part time staff. Executing marketing plan.

This is a full time salaried position.

Qualifications:

• College degree
• Played College Basketball or Equivalent Experience
• Must have participation or work experience in any of the following: College or High School Coaching OR, customer service, retail or commission sales environment, OR participation or leadership in athletic/team activities, OR membership or leadership in community, social or academic organizations.
• Must have an unrestricted valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DUI/DWI) in the past 5 years.
• No sexual related convictions
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

HOURS:

This position is a ‘2nd Shift’ occupation. Operators are expected to come in by 12p daily for administrative work. All training sessions are held on nights and weekends.

Hiring Requirements:

Upon passing the new hire process, applicants will be offered the position. There is a 90-day probation period, and 2 weeks paid training in the Chicago area.
