The Director of Basketball Operations & Student-Athlete Development is an administrative support staff position for the Men’s Basketball program. Under the guidance of the head coach, the incumbent will support the various day-to-day operations of the Men’s Basketball program.

This position will compile team-related stats; plan, coordinate, and execute year-long travel plans; handle the arrangement of team practice scheduling; act as a liaison to conference and other unit staff within Northern Kentucky University Athletics; and organize all aspects of recruiting visits.

Assist coaching staff with the completion of NCAA compliance logs

Assist with the coordination of team travel arrangements

Coordinate complimentary ticket requests and distribution for games in conjunction with the coaching staff and event services

Assist in the coordination of all camps and clinics

Liaison with athletics marketing staff for all promotion and game activities

Responsible for travel budget and ensuring travel expenses remain in budget

Assist with film breakdown and statistical analysis

Manage Head Coach’s schedule and correspondence

Assist with fundraising including working with coaches and athletics development staff in planning and coordinating events

Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience

Knowledge of NCAA and Horizon League rules
