Directly supports the operations of the U.S. Air Force Academys Mens Basketball program. Reports to the Head Coach, Mens Basketball, and support staff, as necessary, and may be required to perform other duties as assigned beyond those specifically listed below.

• Supports assistant coaches in all aspects of game planning and preparation.
• Supports in coordination of underclassmen recruiting, assists the assigned coach in the management of the ARMS database.
• Provides support and initiates follow up with “Blue Chipped” recruits in the admissions process to ensure efficiency.
• Assists the assigned coach responsible for producing daily practice stats and distribution to staff.
• In accordance with current NCAA policy, assumes on court responsibilities as permitted by the blanket waiver until such waiver expires or is extended
• Assists the assigned coach in oversight and direction of the student managers.
• Assists the assigned coach with all aspects of team travel, including but not limited to, team meals, snacks, hotels, transportation, travel preparation, shoot around logistics, post trip requirements, etc.
• Responsible for oversight of staff calendar and internal staff and team communication.
• Provides support in coordination of practice schedules, strength and conditioning schedules, and scheduling of internal events for student athletes and staff.
• Assists the assigned coach with necessary compliance paperwork.
• Responsible for providing administrative support of men’s basketball sports camps and to assist in the promotion, development, execution, and expansion of Men’s Basketball Elite and Team Camps (subject to NCAA camp and clinic legislation).
• Complete all other duties assigned by the Head Men’s Basketball Coach, and all other duties as assigned by the Men’s Basketball coaching staff at their discretion.

• 4-year degree
• Excellent communicator in both written and verbal form.
• Prior collegiate coaching experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and successfully pass a background investigation.
• Random drug testing is required.
• Participation in the COVID-19 Vaccination Program is a requirement for all full-time employees of the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC).
