Essential Job Functions

• Team Travel & Logistics: Coordinating all aspects of road trips, including air/bus transportation, hotel blocks, team meals, and securing practice times at host facilities.
• Budget Management: Overseeing the program’s annual operating budget, processing reimbursements, and managing equipment orders (uniforms, gear, and technology).
• Recruiting Operations: Managing the “home base” for recruiting. This includes organizing official and unofficial on-campus visits, maintaining the recruit database, and preparing graphics or mailers.
• Administrative Liaison: Serving as the primary point of contact between the basketball program and other university departments, specifically Compliance (eligibility and rules), Academics (monitoring student-athlete progress), and Facilities (scheduling court time).
• Video & Technology: Managing film exchange between programs, breaking down practice and game footage, and overseeing student managers who assist with video.
• Special Events: Planning the annual team banquet, alumni reunions, and community service events.
• Summer Camps: Often serving as the Director for the program’s youth and elite summer camps, handling registration, and daily staffing.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in collegiate athletics.
• Skills: Proficiency in recruiting software and video editing tools (e.g., Synergy Sports, DVSport).
