Director of Basketball Operations is a twelve month position and will be responsible for successful execution in planning, developing and administering all phrases of the men’s basketball operations program. All duties and responsibilities are governed by state, federal and university policy.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience

• A bachelor’s degree and intercollegiate/ professional coaching or participating experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor academic progress of at-risk student-athletes;
• Coordinate team travel:
• Process uniform and equipment orders:
• Assist in budget preparation;
• Arrange film exchange;
• Supervise study hall and perform classroom checks;
• Oversee student managers;
• Direct community outreach efforts;
• Manage calendar for head coach and team;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of NCAA, Ohio Valley Conference and University rules;
• Ability to work nights and weekends with extensive travel.
