Reporting to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and assists in the administration of all phases of the men’s basketball program in accordance with NCAA Division I rules and philosophies.

The candidates main  responsibility is to assist the Head Coach with various of duties,to include managerial duties for practices and game preparations; for all team travel-airline, bus, hotel, food reservations; practice times and travel itineraries; will assist with  academic support, study hall, social media, scouting and film breakdown. Organize and participate in camp and community service projects. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, fellow employees, programs boosters and alumni outreach.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree  required.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately; must have an understanding of the University’s concern for academics, as well as athletic excellence; must be able to operate a variety of office equipment, knowledge of synergy, sports code, jump forward or arms, Hudl, MS Word 2013; basic knowledge of MS Excel 2013. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, fellow employees, program boosters, and the public.

As this position requires operation of University vehicles and traveling for recruiting purposes, the possession and maintenance of a Florida driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
