This position provides oversight for the men’s basketball program with an emphasis on student-athletes’ well-being. The position will support student-athletes by assisting in the coordination of academic programs, resident life, and serve as the point person for all NCAA compliance issues. Applicant should also be proficient in video editing, including compiling of scouting reports and game plans. The position schedules all practices, games, and team travel for the men’s basketball program. The position is responsible for developing, monitoring, and performing within the program budget.

Minimum Requirements

Position requires graduation from a four year college and master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with student athletes. Experience working in a college athletic environment and possessing excellent written and oral communication skills, able to analyze and interpret policy and procedural guidelines to resolve problems and questions specific to collegiate athletic teams. Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to coordinate multiple efforts/ projects at one time, demonstrated ability to work with diverse population of individuals including students, parents, university faculty and staff, community members and vendors.
