The Director of Scouting reports directly to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach. The Director of Scouting will be a member of the University of San Francisco Athletic Department and will oversee all scouting and video for the University of San Francisco NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Program.

Job Description:

• Coordinate all scouting report breakdowns for opponents.

• Organize data on opponent player personnel, including offensive and defensive strategies

• Assist with game plan

• Responsible for all team film, including breakdown, for games and practices.

• Assist Director of Basketball Operations as needed.

• Assist with coordinating youth individual and team camps.

• Assist with outreach to community, including local basketball clubs, high school and youth basketball programs.

• Assist with coordination of Alumni events.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Excellent knowledge of the game and strategies of men’s

basketball. Knowledge of video camera and breakdown of film. Thorough knowledge of NCAA

and WCC rules and regulations and the application to those in all situations.
