The Director of Men’s Basketball Operations is a twelve month position and will be responsible for successful execution in planning, developing and administering all phases of the men’s basketball operations program. All duties and responsibilities are governed by state, federal and university policy.
• Coordinate team travel arrangements.
• Assist in budget preparation and administration.
• Compliance with all NCAA, Sun Belt Conference and institutional rules.
• Monitor academic progress toward degree.
• Process uniform and equipment orders.
• Arrange film exchange.
• Supervise study hall and perform class checks.
• Oversee student managers.
• Direct community outreach efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of NCAA, Sun Belt Conference and University rules.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region and nationally.
Ability to interact in a professional manner with people and present a positive image of the University.
Ability to drive and operate a vehicle.
