The University of South Florida, located in Tampa, FL and a member of the American Athletic Conference, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Operations for the Men’s Basketball Program. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the coaching staff with administrative functions to ensure the progress and success of a program that operates with integrity and within the scope and intent of all University, American Athletic Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, coordinating visits of potential student athletes, assist coaches with any recruiting needs, serves as the sport program’s liaison for university admission procedures and compliance issues; handles logistics of team travel; organizes coaches travel schedule, handles reporting of coaches purchase card (p-card) transactions and completes reconciliations; and other administrative functions needed to maintain an effective intercollegiate sports program.
