Rutgers the State University of New Jersey with the Athletics department are seeking a Director of Player Services – Men’s Basketball ; reporting to the Head Coach. in the administration and all aspects of player development for the Men’s Basketball program. Assists in the administration of the Intercollegiate Men’s Basketball Program. Is responsible for a variety of player related matters, including, but not limited to, scheduling personal and team peer exercises, student-athlete mentoring programs on and off campus, assisting with coordination and monitoring of individual player’s complete schedules (i.e., coordinating practice schedules with class schedules, work with the video coordinator to produce individual player videos, etc.), assisting in all basketball related campus events, monitoring study halls and coordinating all student-athlete paperwork as it relates to NCAA compliance. Responsible for community and alumni relations and keeping those relationships strong. Orders staff/player gear as well as post graduate development. Performs additional duties as required.

Experience playing at the pro level is not required, but increases the value of the position. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as minimal computing skills. Basketball coaching, playing and/or administrative experience preferred.
