Responsible for planning the collective recruiting strategy for the Men’s Basketball program. The major focus of the position will be the overall branding and positioning of the team. Additionally, it will have a specific emphasis on the recruitment of potential Men’s Basketball student-athletes. Ensures that recruiting processes align with current and future needs as stated by the coaching staff. Develops the most effective, economical and appropriate recruiting channels and methods. Manage and supervise all activities related to Men’s Basketball recruiting.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. On-campus recruitment of prospects, their families, and guests
2. Coordination of off-campus recruitment of prospects and their families by coaches
3. All forms of recruiting communications directed at prospects, their families and coaches, and the general public including social media and content
4. Responsible for planning and implementing a Social plan for both the recruitment of potential student athletes and the overall Men’s Basketball
5. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in college athletics ,preferably within the men’s basketball program.
• Proficient in Microsoft office products (word, excel, outlook)
• Proficient with social media (development of plan, execution of individual postings)
