HoopSeen was founded in 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia and runs the largest travel basketball tournaments in the country. HoopSeen operates the Best of the South, Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions, Atlanta Jam, Bama Jam, Carolina Jam, The Valley Jam, NextGen Jam, HoopSeen Tip-Off, HerStory Classic, Georgia Cup series and the Preview Camp platform. is the leader for recruiting coverage of independent travel basketball teams across the country.


HoopSeen is now expanding full-time in the West. We will launch the following new events to our platform – HoopSeen West Tip-Off, All In Invitational, Cactus Classic and expansion of the NCAA Live Period event called The Valley Jam.


Over 3,000 teams competed in HoopSeen events in 2021 and look to continue the national growth in 2022 and beyond.


Job Description


The Director of West Coast Sales is a full-time paid position that is based in the West. The position will report to Justin Young.


Duties will include:

  • Daily sales initiative for our HoopSeen events based in the West (Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and more) along with our Best of the South NCAA Live Period event in Atlanta, Georgia every July.

  • Phone calls, emails, various communication efforts with potential new customers and existing customers about our event schedule and HoopSeen Association.

  • Adding 16 teams to our HoopSeen Association.

  • Set and achieve sales goals that include annual revenue growth and geographical expansion with attending teams and events.

  • Help place travel basketball teams in a position for competitive success on the court and recruiting success off the court.

  • Coordinating with the tournament director on schedule requests and event information during the travel season and during the events.

  • Customer service for attending teams at our HoopSeen events.

  • Helping secure future venues and locations for HoopSeen events.

Candidate must have:

  • Experience in sales and customer service

  • Experience in event management

  • Background in team sports

  • Ability to work nights and weekends

  • Can work independently and have time management skills

  • Must be able to communicate with clear direction and great detail

  • Must be goal-driven and competitive

  • Self-starter, self-motivator and able to bring leadership to our team

  • Can travel throughout the West for events, sales opportunities and brand growth
