About Us: 

Arruda’s Basketball Club is a youth basketball training program located in Arlington, Virginia. We are a developmental training program that focuses on teaching fundamentals, building basketball skills, and teaching the growth mindset. We are focused on teaching real basketball concepts paired with life lessons in a fun and educational manner. We work with kids ages 5-16 and at all skill levels. 

Description: 

As the director of ABC, you would be responsible for designing, adding, reconstructing, and implementing the basketball training programs that align with the goals and needs of our club members. You will conduct one on one sessions, group sessions and clinics aimed at improving member’s basketball skills, physical fitness, understanding of the game, and grow their character. 

In addition to this, you will be responsible for designing the training schedule, managing facility rentals and use, cooperating with bookkeeper, hiring additional trainers, handling new registrations and sales calls. 

Requirements/Experience Needed: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Athletics related field (preferred) 

Experience Coaching Basketball – ages 5-16 (college experience preferred) Experience Working Basketball Camps – ages 5-16 (college camps experience preferred) Experience Building Systems and Processes 

Leadership Experience 

Professional Communication Experience – Email, Social media management, Sales, Ability to provide feedback effectively and constructively 

Software Experience with (not needed but preferred): 

Google Suite 

Excel 

Accounting / Quickbooks 

Scheduling / Calendly

20k-40k Salary depending on Experience & Effort
