Description:

This position reports to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach, and will assist with all aspects of running a successful Division 1 Men’s Basketball program, while adhering to all NCAA, UW-Green Bay, UW System, and State of Wisconsin rules, regulations, and policies.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for all Men’s Basketball away games, including but not limited to bussing, airfare, hotels, and food.
  • Prepare team travel expense reports that include required documentation for all expenses incurred. Track expenses to ensure actual expenses stay within the team travel budget and state regulations.
  • Assist with the management of the Men’s Basketball budget.
  • Serve as point of contact for all opposing teams to schedule practice times, shoot around times, laundry needs, and other support they may need during their time in Green Bay.
  • Assist in fundraising activities.
  • Help run the Men’s Basketball Golf Outing and serve as the point person.
  • Utilize film exchange services to coordinate all film exchange during the season.
  • Hire, supervise, and train student managers.
  • Coordinate study table sessions and academic programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field at time of application
  • Working knowledge of NCAA and Horizon League rules and regulations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior teaching and/or coaching experience
  • Experience in college basketball

Conditions of Appointment

This position will travel often with the Men’s Basketball team. It will require night and weekend work along with traditional work hours.

Position is a full-time Limited appointment.  Official transcripts of the highest degree achieved will be required of finalist(s).  A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s).  In compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, the university does not discriminate on the basis of arrest or conviction record.
