Millikin University, located in Decatur, Illinois, invites applicants for an Entry Level Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach.  This is a ten-month position and will assist the Head Coach with all phases of the basketball program, including coaching and other duties as assigned.  The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with the Athletic Director to gain a thorough understanding of the role of athletics at a small, private, comprehensive university.  Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree, knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, coaching and/or playing experience at the men’s collegiate level, must demonstrate effective and excellent leadership, motivational, organizational and interpersonal skills.  You may view a complete position description at www.millikin.edu/employment.
