We are a growing program and there will be multiple opportunities for basketball coaching and recruiting positions available in the coming 18 months. This position is for a coaching and sales at our Alexandria Facility.

Overview:

This role for the Head Coach at the Alexandria Facility Head CoachFacility in Sydney, Australia.

The job responsibilities are split fairly evenly between coaching and sales responsibilities.

The coaching involves a few different aspects:

• Coaching and implementing our group development training program for players from 13-20 years old. This program involves a heavy focus on group sessions and mentoring players off the court, and some management of junior coaches to assist you.

• You will also spend time ‘community coaching’ – think of this like a floating PT at a gym, but you are floating around helping our member improve their jumpshot while they workout on the Dr Dish machines.

• “Shot Doctor” coaching – 30 minute individual sessions with players wanting to work specifically on their jumpshot

• And you will spend time working out our elite players. We have a huge range of elite players from pro’s to recent Duke signees, to college players back home during their offseason.

The sales role involves being a Membership Consultant for clients who want to join our facility as a member.  Responsibilities include:

• Sales calls and onboarding calls

• Touring new clients around the facility

• Building relationships with existing clients to seek referrals.

Employment Details

• Hours are 12pm – 8pm weekdays

• Salary $70,000 AUD with opportunities to grow (median salary in Australia is $62k)

• Start in August 2022 (will accept applications for future dates, too)

Other Details

• The preferred length of employment is 1+ years. Longer the better.

• Looking for someone who has Grad Assistant experience or higher.

• We will work with you to organise the relevant visa.

• You will be responsible for your own accommodation and transport (but we will help you get settled when you arrive)

• You will need to purchase your flight to Australia and will be reimbursed upon arrival
