Augustana University, a member of the NCAA DII and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, seeks a graduate assistant to work in conjunction with the Head Men’s Basketball Coach in all aspects related to the operation of the basketball program.

Examples of Duties

Gameday operations, travel and event planning

• Assisting the head coach in daily practice planning
• Assisting the head coach in the execution of necessary administrative details within the basketball program
• Assisting the program in academic success
• Assisting in travel and daily operations
• Assisting with graphic design and social media

Typical Qualifications

Registered and enrolled in a graduate degree program at Augustana University

• An undergraduate degree
• Excellent leadership skills
• Sound interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Solid written and verbal skills
• Basic computer literacy

This position, available beginning Fall 2024, will require weekend and evening work, including team travel. The successful candidate may be subject to a background check and driving records check as a condition of employment.
