Concordia is a Christian university affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The graduate assistant coach position provides leadership and assists in the overall coaching, management and administration of the men’s basketball program. This person will also serve as the Head Coach of the Resere/JV team.

Responsibilities include:

• Program Organization and Administration
  • Manage team calendar & messaging platform
  • Academic monitoring & communication
• Recruitment of Student-Athletes
  • Identifying recruits that fit our basketball program & Concordia University
  • Travel/Attend AAU events (Spring/Summer) & HS practice/Games (Fall/Winter)
  • Consistent contact with recruits – texts, calls & Front Rush
• Opponent Scouting
  • Preparing scouting reports using Synergy & JustPlay
  • Presenting scouting reports to the team

• On-Court Coaching
  • Pre-practice court/equipment preparation
  • Leading individual skill instruction groups
  • Leading & assisting with practice segments
• Administrative/Other
  • Additional duties include assisting with summer camps, overseeing student-managers, team laundry, etc.
• Adhere to NAIA and WHAC regulations
