The Athletics Department at Aquinas College is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball program.

Position Description:
Duties for the position include, but are not limited to, assisting the head coach in all aspects of the program (practices, games, recruiting, conditioning, overseeing academics, etc.). Head Coach for the Junior Varsity program, which includes recruitment, scheduling and player development. Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred. Recruiting experience is encouraged but not required. Good character & communication skills, self-motivation, and leadership skills are essential. Position compensated with graduate studies, housing, and meal stipend.

Position begins immediately after hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and admission into a Aquinas College graduate program
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Weekend and evening hours required
• Driver’s license required
