Description & Responsibilities: 

Our Staff is made up of Graduate Assistants and the Head Coach, this position carries the weight and responsibilities of a Full Time Assistant Coach.  The position will recruit, coach on the floor, help with practice preparation, opponent scouting, academic coordinator, travel coordination, workout red shirts, run individual skill workouts, run social media accounts, laundry, run camps, and assist with all other aspects of the program.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At Least 1 Year removed from A Bachelor’s Degree and acceptance into a Master’s Program at HNU is essential and required.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the core values of Holy Names University and the ability to translate those values into success for Athletics Department.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules is preferred.
• Sound problem solving and conflict resolution abilities are expected as well as keen understanding of professional distance needed between staff members and athletes.
• Willingness to support the Department of Athletics by attending department/institutional events and serving in various roles throughout the year are required
• Ability and willingness to drive university vehicles is essential.
