Description:
Illinois Wesleyan University, a NCAA Division III institution, invites applications for the position of Men’s Basketball Graduate Assistant. This 10 month position includes a tuition waiver and stipend of ~$1300 per month. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; coaching duties, recruiting, scouting, strength and conditioning, and game management. Coaching position will start August 17, 2022 with classes also starting in August for the graduate degree program. Successful candidates will adhere to all rules of the CCIW, NCAA, IWU, and will fulfill the requirements and expectations of the Illinois State University graduate program. Candidates must be accepted and enroll in one of the following graduate degree sequences; Psychology of Sport or Sport Management.

 

The individual must have playing or coaching experience and be willing to obtain a strength and conditioning certification. Candidates must meet the requirement for admission into the Illinois State Graduate School (3.0 in last 60 hours and qualifying GRE score).
