Langston University, a nationally recognized Historical Black College & University, invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant in Men’s Basketball. Men’s Basketball won 16 games last season, the most in the last 10 years of the program.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Assist with all aspects of the men’s basketball program which includes, but not limited to, academic monitoring, study hall monitor, individual skill work, strength and conditioning coordinator, team travel, film exchange and editing, practice scheduling, on and off campus recruiting, and practice and game prep.

Qualifications:

Must have strong organizational skills, be highly energetic and dependable, and have a passion for college basketball. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree. Previous collegiate playing experience, high school or college coaching experience, or previous experience as a video coordinator at the collegiate level is preferred and highly recommended.
