Mary Baldwin University (located in Staunton, VA), a Division III member of the NCAA and USA South Conference, is seeking a graduate assistant men’s basketball coach. This is a two-year position and includes the following:

• Tuition Remission

• NO Housing

Responsibilities:  Assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including, but not limited to, the recruitment of quality student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, scouting and game preparation, administrative duties, player skill development, and student-athlete mentorship.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Knowledge of NCAA Division III and USA South Conference rules and regulations
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with student-athletes, parents, administrators, faculty, staff, and the community
• Must demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm for the recruiting duties of the position
• Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience is highly preferred
