Description:

The Graduate Assistant position at Tusculum College is a one-year, non-paid position. Employment is based upon successful acceptance into a masters level program at Tusculum.   A bachelor degree at an accredit university is required to apply for the position. Tuition of the masters program will be covered as part of your employment as well as a meal plan to the dining hall. The GA will be required to pass the NCAA recruiting test.

       DUTIES

  • Assist in all on floor coaching
  • Assist in all practice planning
  • Assist in scouting reports and game prep
  • Assist with study hall and academic performance
  • Assist with travel and meal plans
  • Assist in recruiting and on campus visits
  • Assist in strength and conditioning activities
  • Assist with NCAA compliance requirements in ARMS
  • Assist with film edits and film breakdown in Synergy
  • Complete all required classwork that accompanies the masters program of choice
