| Description: | Elmhurst College is a NCAA Division III program located in the western suburbs of Chicago. Elmhurst College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant Men’s Basketball. Responsibilities include assisting with the direction of the Elmhurst College men’s basketball program and other administrative duties as assigned within the athletic department. This will include some game management duties of other sports as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must meet requirements for admission to Graduate Studies at Elmhurst College and must hold a Bachelor’s degree. Candidates must have a working knowledge of NCAA Division III and CCIW rules and compliance, as well as a valid driver’s license. Previous collegiate playing, coaching, or managing experience is preferred. This position includes full Graduate tuition remission and a small stipend. Housing and meal plan are not included. Candidates, per IRS rules, will be taxed based on the tuition remission. Candidates must pass a criminal and license background check, be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays on occasion. This position will report directly to the head men’s basketball coach. Anticipated start date will be late August, 2020.
