| Description: | Peru State College seeks qualified applicants for a Graduate Assistant – Men’s Basketball. The Graduate Assistant will serve as an assistant men’s basketball coach. Responsibilities will include coaching, all aspects of recruiting, assisting with film breakdown, game and practice preparation which includes video cut-ups, serving as an assistant for equipment, and other duties as assigned. A bachelor’s degree is required and applicants must be accepted into a graduate program of study (online) at one of the three state colleges. Start date August, 2019. Compensation will be an annual $6,400 stipend, 18 hours graduate school tuition per year (student fee portion of online tuition rate and books will be the student’s responsibility), and fees. This ten-month position with the opportunity of renewal after the first year and requires work hours outside of the normal workweek, including evening, weekend and holiday hours.
