Pfeiffer University is currently accepting applications for a Men’s Basketball and Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant. The Graduate Assistant will have responsibilities within the Men’s Basketball Program as well as the Athletic Department’s Strength and Conditioning Program.
Men’s Basketball responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coaching, assisting in the planning and organizing of practice, game day duties, equipment management, team travel, video editing, recruiting on and off campus along with other duties assigned by the head coach.
Strength and Conditioning responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and implementing strength and conditioning programs for various varsity team sports, overseeing in season and off season training, creating a safe and effective exercise environment, creating proper strength programs related to sport.
This position will cover costs for Graduate course work. Position does not include housing, meal plan, or stipend.
A bachelor’s degree is required. Playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred. The position will require excellent communication skills and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
