Russell Sage College invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. This position reports to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach.  For the academic year, in total, the position would include working 300 hours, a $2,000 stipend and 6 credit waiver.

Duties:

∙         Assist Head Men’s Basketball Coach with day to day operations including but not limited to

recruiting, on-court instruction, live scouting, film analysis, monitoring

student athlete academic success and progress

∙         Assist with development of content for social media platforms

• Assist with organizational planning & execution of team travel, study hall, fundraising,

community service etc.

∙         Assist with equipment inventory & maintenance

∙         Assist with in-season strength & conditioning

∙     Assist with organization and coaching at camps and clinics

∙         Conducts periodic in-season individual skills training as directed by the head coach

∙         Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations

∙         Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics

Position Requirements: Highly organized, growth driven individual; previous experience in college athletic setting preferred; ability to work nights and weekends.
