University of the Pacific is seeking candidates for Graduate Assistant position with the men’s basketball program. This will be a volunteer position.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Being involved in Player Development at the Division I level
• Conducting a team scout, personnel, and video analysis at the Division I level
• Being involved in logistics/planning
• Assisting Managers in setting up practice and games
• Actively working/communicating with the head coach, the assistant coaches, and DOBO
• Perform other duties as requested by the head coach

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver’s license is preferred
• Experience with Synergy and Hudl Sportscode is preferred
• High school and college playing experience preferred
• Weekend work, irregular hours, travel, and physical demands are required for this position.

Other responsibilities include:

• Promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletic program; compliance with all departmental policies and procedures, as well as University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations
