Warner University is seeking applications for a Graduate Assistant for Men’s Basketball. Responsible for working with the head coach in all aspects of developing a competitive NAIA program with some assignments with athletic administration.

Additional Clarification on Coaching Responsibilities: Assisting with practice planning and coaching. Assisting with recruiting both on and off campus including talent evaluation at high school, junior college and club events. Organizational duties related to recruiting, fundraising, game day operations and travel. Some driving is required for both recruiting and game day travel. Communication with recruits and current players in expected. Coaching the JV program with the guidance of our staff.

Qualifications: Candidate must meet the requirements for admission to Warner’s graduate school. Candidate must affirm Warner distinctives as a decidedly Christian college and articulate a personal relationship with Christ. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Coaching and/or competitive experience is required.  

Start Date: August 1, 2024

Length of Appointment: 2 years

Responsibilities: Assistant coaching duties under the direction of the head men’s basketball coach and/or his designee. Includes but not limited to on court and tournament coaching, social media and recruiting, equipment management, practice planning, leading and pastoring of students.
