We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated basketball coach with a passion for teaching the fundamentals of basketball to Elementary School aged players (Aged 5 – 11) in our “Development Program”. An energetic and self-motivated individual with a willingness to work in a multicultural environment, and a passion for working with younger children are key components to being considered.

The FastBreak Basketball Club has been running for 10 years under the keen eye of Managing Director, Mike Denzel. We are the market leader in providing quality basketball instruction for youth between ages 4-18 in Singapore.  FastBreak is entering another expansion phase in the 2017-18 season, and we are looking for an individual interested in being part of our growing team, with direct responsibility and ownership of our entire Development Program.

All the comforts of home can be found, and with English as the national language, life in Singapore is very comfortable. Travel is one of the best aspects of living in the “Little Red Dot” with dozens of countries within a short (and inexpensive) flight away.

Responsibilities

• Run fundamental skills practices for our development level players
• Coach our youngest competitive teams in leagues and tournaments
• Create and implement a curriculum for our Development Program for delivery at multiple locations and times
• Assist with our holiday camps
• Explore new opportunities for expansion of our Development Program (Business Development)
• Market of our Development Program to new and existing customers
• Other coaching responsibilities as required

Requirements

• Solid Basketball background
• Proven experience (and interest) working with younger children
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Willingness to commit to a minimum 2 year contract
