The Head Coach for either of the two PKUS teams (15U & 17U) has the opportunity to travel abroad and become an international basketball coach at one of Asia’s most prestigious academic and basketball institutions. PKUS is the fastest rising program in China, with a model that prioritizes academics as well as basketball. Unlike other basketball programs in China, PKUS allows students to continue their academic growth which provides all students options to either pursue basketball at a high-level or college education at a high-level either internationally or at home. PKUS is China’s best pipeline for student athletes to come to America with players currently at Montverde Academy (FL), North Broward Prep (FL), and Real Salt Lake (UT). PKUS is the new frontier in China basketball, with no other program able to provide what ours can.

The Head Coach will be responsible for learning and conducting Coach Kevin Boyle’s proven and tested development program to maximize the potential of all student-athletes.

• Valid US Passport is required.
• Learning the KBIB development program including all drills, sets, and philosophies.
• Communicating and interpreting the KBIB development program with the help of Chinese speaking translators on site.
• Communicating with Coach Kevin Boyle and Brendan Boyle on a constant basis regarding the team and the day to day operation.
• Recruiting and assessing talent from around China to continue growing PKUS into the national spotlight.
• Being attentive and invested in the growth and development of each player of their respective team.
• Demonstrating high character as an example for student-athletes to follow.
• Running practice six days weekly and weights three days.
• Being present and attentive for all film sessions run by Coach Brendan Boyle.
