Description:	Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: • Formulate objectives for coaching the men’s basketball team • Maintain current knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations concerning recruiting, initial eligibility, satisfactory progress, and sustain compliance with all regulations concerning the sport of men’s basketball • Successfully recruit student athletes • Effectively manage program budget • Fundraising coordinated with Chadron State Foundation • Other duties as assigned Bachelor’s degree Previous experience coaching basketball at any level Current knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations as they relate to men’s        basketball Demonstrated ability to evaluate and recruit student athletes Effective communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work varying hours including nights and weekends Extensive travel Valid driver’s license; satisfactory evaluation of driving record Successful background records check
