Clayton State University, located 15 minutes south of downtown Atlanta, invites applicants for the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Clayton State is a NCAA II member which successfully competes in the Peach Belt Conference and at a national level. The Clayton State women’s basketball team has posted the best winning percentage in NCAA II during the last five years and won the NCAA II Championship in 2011. The successful candidate will provide leadership for all phases of the basketball program including recruitment of quality prospective student-athletes, monitoring student-athlete academic progress, game preparation and strategy, supervision of assistant coaches, scheduling, enhancing public relations, fundraising, budget, organizing camps and clinics, adherence of PBC and NCAA rules and other general administrative duties. In addition, the Head Coach will be responsible for support the philosophy and mission of both the University and its Intercollegiate Athletics program.
