Cornell University, a member of the Ivy League, seeks applications and nominations for the position of the Robert J. Gallagher ’44 Head Coach of Men’s Basketball.  Responsibilities of this position include the organizing and administering of all aspects of an NCAA Division I men’s basketball program including: hiring, supervising, and evaluating the men’s basketball staff; evaluating and recruiting prospective student-athletes; training and preparing student-athletes for competition; monitoring and supporting the academic success of student-athletes; managing the men’s basketball budget; working closely with department and University colleagues on admissions, financial aid, and other relevant issues; conducting public relations activities to promote the program and the University; assisting with fundraising; and performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics or his designee.
