Job Description: Basketball – This individual will recruit and coach student-athletes and develop the college men’s basketball team. Some fundraising responsibility is also included. The person hired for the position will teach 2-3 credits per semester in the HPER department. Curriculum development and outcomes assessment, institutional committee work, and community service and outreach activities are inherent to the position.
Athletic Director – Managing the game environment, NJCAA eligibility and policy compliance, facilities and equipment tracking, budget monitoring, student athlete retention and persistence to graduation, and supervising and evaluating the athletic department coaches and assistant athletic director are inherent to the position. DCB subscribes to the philosophy that it has an obligation to develop players as students and citizens, as well as athletes. The athletic director is expected to promote scholarship, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a winning/positive attitude.
