The Head Men’s Basketball Coach will be responsible for the direction and oversight of a NCAA Division I Basketball program at Eastern Illinois University and the coaching functions related to the sport of Men’s Basketball. These functions include, but are not limited to the following: coaching, recruiting, practice, game day preparation, alumni communication, fundraising and management of staff. Provide effective management of games and practices. Supervise staff and establish a strong working relationship with the University and surrounding community. Follow NCAA, Ohio Valley Conference and university rules and regulations. Develop the athletes physically, mentally and emotionally for Division I competition. Organize and manage camps and clinics. Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
