Description:	QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience in coaching basketball required Prior experience in coaching basketball in intercollegiate setting preferred Collegiate experience as a player preferred Demonstrated knowledge of the sport Ability to represent the College in a professional manner at all times Commitment to the teaching-learning process of the two-year community college and the open-door admissions process DUTIES: Coach intercollegiate athletic team under the supervision of the Athletic Director. Recruit quality student-athletes. Conduct academic follow-up activities for student athletes. Maintain records and submit reports as required. Conduct fund raising activities as needed. Supervise the assistant coach. Conduct all duties in compliance with ACCC and NJCAA rules and regulations. Comply with all policies of the Alabama Community College System and the College. Serve on College and System Committees as approved by Athletic Director. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the College mission.
