| Description: | Houghton College, an academically rigorous Christian College of the liberal arts and sciences, which competes in the highly respected Empire 8 Conference of the NCAA D-III, is seeking applicants for the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach. This is a full-time position that will include a secondary administrative assignment within the department. The successful applicant will possess a demonstrated commitment to sports ministry and the ability to effectively communicate that vision to recruits, players and supporters. Playing experience at the collegiate level and/or successful coaching experience at the
college level is strongly preferred. Familiarity with the NCAA and proven experience as a recruiter are highly desired. A Bachelor’s degree is required, but a Master’s degree is preferred. Strong “people skills” and the ability to work well with others are required. The position will be filled upon identification of a suitable candidate.
