The Men’s Basketball Coach is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the men’s basketball program, and is required to abide by rules and regulations established by North Arkansas College and NJCAA. Nine month position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all areas of the Men’s basketball program; train, coach, supervise, schedule, recruit, team safety, drive bus, reporting, ethics.
Coordinate the development and promotion of men’s basketball program. Adhere to all rules and regulations established by North Arkansas College, and NJCAA.
Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester.
Monitor academic progress and conduct of student athletes.
Plan and implement basketball camp.
Represent North Arkansas college and the men’s basketball program in a professional manner. Participate in college/community outreach, fundraising and PR opportunities. Support the strategic goals and academic mission of Northark.
Plan and monitor department budget. Responsible for uniforms, supplies, and equipment.
Additional duties as assigned.
The men’s basketball coach must be an assertive team builder, have integrity and a great work ethic.
