The department of Physical Education and Athletics is seeking applicants for a newly full-time Men’s Basketball Coach/Assistant Director of Athletics. Sarah Lawrence is a member of the Hudson Valley Men’s and Women’s Athletic Conferences and is a provisional member of NCAA DIII. Specific areas of responsibility will include student-athlete recruitment, training, conditioning and skill development as well as practice and game preparation. Administrative areas of responsibility will include scheduling for all varsity sports and coordinating officials, meals and transportation for all contests. Ensuring adherence to the policies of Sarah Lawrence College, the HVMAC and the NCAA will be an ongoing essential. Preference will be given to candidates with coaching and playing experience at the collegiate level as well as experience recruiting to a private liberal arts college.
