The Head Coach Basketball is responsible for fostering the academic and athletic development of student athletes in the Men’s Basketball program of the University Intercollegiate. Provide management and oversight of the Men’s Basketball program.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

Development of the student-athlete on the Division 1 level by providing effective coaching technique.

Promote the success of the student-athlete by recruiting those student-athletes who are qualified to compete academically and athletically at the Division 1 level.

Promote the academic progress of assigned student athletes by being a strong liaison with the Athletic Academic Office.

Overall coordination of recruiting rules and procedures.

Perform public relations duties as required by the University and its constituents,

Enforce team discipline and policies by providing guidance and counsel to student-athletes.

Ensure program integrity by adhering to and enforcing all policies and procedures as set forth by the TCU Athletics Department, Conference, and NCAA

Performs other related duties as assigned.
