In accordance with all NCAA, Conference, State and institutional rules and regulations, the Head Coach will have full responsibility for coaching and training the Men’s Basketball Team. This includes coaching, administration, management, travel, compliance, recruiting, academic progress of student-athletes and public relations and development duties. The Head Coach devotes his/her full-time, attention, and energy to the duties of this position, actively promotes the University and its athletic program, and avoids any business or professional activities or pursuits that will prevent him/her from performing all duties assigned.

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of ten (10) years of college coaching experience.

Preferred qualifications: Division I coaching experience is desirable. History of competitive successes during coaching career. Head coach or top assistant coach experience. Experience coaching at a public institution. Experience working with similar resources as UW-Milwaukee Athletics and/or ability to function/lead a successful program within budget limitations. Knowledge of the Midwest/Wisconsin recruitment territory.
